FACILITATOR
Spiritual
Survivors is facilitated by Marie. She is not a
therapist or counselor but a caring and loving woman who is
passionate about breaking the silence of sexual abuse and reminding
survivors of their inherent worth and unique,God-given beauty.
Marie comes to the group after walking through the experience
with others and seeing the deep pain it causes. She helped start
the Spiritual Survivor's group as a response to the societal
crisis of sexual abuse in our world. She feels a deep calling
to support survivors who frequently don't get the understanding
that they deserve from their friends, family or faith community.
Although not a survivor, Marie is dedicated to creating an environment
that brings survivors back to wholeness and empowers them to
live life to its fullest.
The
group is best suited to those who have already worked with a
highly qualified therapist concerning their abuse and are looking
to complement that work with a group experience that offers
a spiritual outlook.

MEETINGS/CONFIDENTIALITY
We
are a Denver based group meeting twice a month. We
provide a safe and welcoming environment for new and
returning members and confidentiality is at the core
of our group. Both males and females are welcome and
we feel members are enriched by the insight each gender
