SPIRITUAL HEALING FOR SURVIVORS OF SEXUAL ABUSE

We are a spiritual support group for adult survivors of sexual assault located in the Denver metro area. The group acknowledges that a significant component of the healing process lies in understanding the effects that abuse has had on your spirituality.  Many survivors talk about a hole they feel inside of them that hasn't been filled.  

Spiritual Survivors is a support group, not therapy; therefore, our leaders are NOT therapists. The goal of this group and website is to provide survivors of sexual abuse a place to talk about their experience and its impact on their spirituality. We work on beginning or continuing the process of healing those wounds. We believe the healing comes from the power of the Holy Spirit or a Higher Power and the collective wisdom of our shared experiences.

A JOURNEY TO SPIRITUAL HEALING
We approach the Divine from an ecumenical viewpoint allowing each
member his or her unique perspective.  Our goal is to live life more fully
through the acceptance and encouragement that the group and the Spirit
offers.  We want to help survivors of sexual crimes have peace and gain a
“wholeness” that can only be achieved through spiritual healing.
