I have been with Spiritual Survivors for two years. The group has given me boundaries which I lacked due to childhood abuse as a very young child. It has also given me more depth as a Christian and I am now looking at the Bible for spiritual growth. J.D. Thanks to this generous and supportive group, I can feel the great love of God. I no longer blame myself for my abuse. I feel like a person with strength and values. I have found answers to my questions. Most importantly, I am now certain that I am not alone. R.G. When I started SS, I didn't like to be around people and did not like to be touched by others. Soon I was able to give and receive hugs regularly and I began to see and feel a joy in my life that I hadn't felt since my abuse. I am now in a relationship with a wonderful woman and I am able to feel positive about myself and truly believe in God's love. S.O. |
